Oil Dispersion

Oil Dispersions (ODs) are suspension-type formulations in which finely milled solid active ingredients are dispersed in an oil phase with the aid of surfactants and stabilizers. The oil serves both as a carrier medium and as a protective environment for the active ingredient, reducing hydrolytic degradation and improving long-term formulation stability. Unlike wettable powders or water-dispersible granules, ODs eliminate dust generation and provide a homogeneous, stable suspension that minimizes issues like sedimentation, phase separation or crystallization during storage and handling.

OD formulations provide key agronomic benefits by enhancing wetting, spreading and adhesion on plant surfaces for better deposition and retention. They also support penetration into plant cuticles and are broadly compatible with adjuvants and tank mixes, offering flexibility in application.
