AU Solutions continues to deepen its long‑standing partnership with The Spring, Oklahoma’s only faith‑based, certified shelter and service provider for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and stalking. This collaboration seeks to support families in crisis and ensure that they have access to a safe place where they can recover.
In support of that mission, AU Solutions sponsored a cabin in the Spring’s transitional living program, a program which offers families a stable, private space as they move toward long‑term healing.
President and CEO Matt McAdams says the commitment of AU Solutions to The Spring is rooted in shared values of faith, family and community. “The Spring does extraordinary work in helping families find safety and stability,” McAdams said. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with them.”
Kedrick Nettleton, community engagement manager at The Spring, said the impact for survivors and their families is only possible through collaboration with community partners.
“Over the past few years, we’ve started to dream bigger about the impact we can make for survivors — our transitional living program is a huge part of that,” Nettleton said. “But those dreams wouldn’t matter if we didn’t trust that we had the local partners and supporters to help us see those dreams through. That’s how partners like AU Solutions make a difference – they help us believe that we can continue to push further.”
Recognizing the ongoing needs of families entering the programs at The Spring, AU Solutions organized a donation drive for essential items to help survivors settle into their new environment. Employees gathered hygiene products and other necessities that directly support families.
“The chance to escape can come without warning, so the people seeking safety at our crisis shelter often come to us with nothing but the clothes on their backs,” Nettleton said. “Donated items like this help us to create essentials kits so that we can make sure our guests are cared for, and they also help us keep our facilities stocked with everything we need.”
